In response to the high-temperature resistance requirements of new-energy vehicle motor compartments, Xiangshang Rubber has developed a specialized EPDM compound system.

To meet the high-temperature resistance requirements of the motor compartment in new energy vehicles, Xiangshang Rubber has developed a specialized EPDM compound system:

  • Replace traditional sulfur with a barium-zinc stabilizer (addition level: 2.1 PHR) to mitigate the risk of copper corrosion.
  • Cerium oxide-modified clay (particle size 0.8 μm) enhances thermal stability; after thermal aging at 150℃ for 1000 hours,
    Tensile strength retention rate ≥ 85%
  • The dynamic vulcanization system reduces the compression set (125℃ × 72h) to 18%.
    It has been certified by Volkswagen TL52652 and offers a 12-year/300,000-kilometer warranty on the service life of rubber compounds in the field of motor seals. Currently, with a production capacity of 20,000 tons of automotive rubber compounds, we can meet the component supply needs for up to 2 million vehicles.
